What actually happens
A prompt goes up: something in your pocket right now, a place you've visited that nobody else has, a word that describes your mood today. Everyone types one answer in secret on their own phone. The trick is that you are not answering for the room, you are answering for yourself. The question is never what everyone else likes, it is what nobody else will think of.
Once the answers are in they land on the shared screen together, grouped by whoever wrote the same thing, with the matching ones growing bigger. Nobody has scored yet, so the room gets to read them cold and work out for itself where it diverged. Then you score the round and the unique answers light up.
Every group of matching answers is worth 1000 points, split evenly between everyone who wrote it. A unique answer keeps the full 1000, a pair takes 500 each, and if five people all wrote dog they take 200 each. The rarer your answer, the more it pays, so a room that thinks alike still scores, just not much.

Run a Playground set for a planned running order, or write each prompt during the game. Live prompts have no fixed round count, so you keep going until you choose Finish game.
Answers arrive anonymously and group themselves on screen, with matching ones growing larger. Nothing is scored until you say so, which gives the room a moment to guess where it landed.
Matching ignores capitals, spacing and punctuation at the ends of an answer, and if you think two wordings mean the same thing you can merge them before scoring. Each group then splits 1000 points evenly between the people who wrote it, so a unique answer keeps all 1000.
Read the prompt aloud as it lands so nobody is squinting at a phone. Put the grouped answers where the whole group can see them before you score the round.
Share the answer board and let the grouping do the talking. Give the room a beat to react to the shape of it before you reveal the unique answers.
Avoid prompts that only one site would answer the same way, since local references create false matches. Keep prompts everyday and everyone stays in with a chance.

Prompts about the office: the meeting everyone dreads, the snack that vanishes first, the excuse people actually use. Obvious answers barely score, so groupthink stops mattering by round two and the team finds out how differently it actually thinks.
